It’s about to get real colorful up in here!
“Punk is the new pretty and pretty is the new punk,” according to celebrity colorist Daniel Moon, the man responsible for Kylie Jenner’s latest ‘do, which may explain why Kylie opted to go from a standard ombre to a new shade of blue.
Kylie’s obvious at the age where experimenting is life, and we can’t hate on her because honestly, she looks great!
Moon says Jenner came to him “asking for either a green or blue color. I created a custom green and blue palette she liked using Pravana Vivids hair color.”
The 16-year-old “made my job easy,” he continued.
“She came in asking for blue or green hair, and was very aware of the effect the chosen shade would have on her skin tone, and how it would fade. I recommended using more than one color to add dimension and she agreed.”
“This was the first time I worked with Kylie,” Moon said. “She was using chalk to color her hair prior, and finally committed to something more long-lasting. As for her reaction: She loved it!”
Flawless as this greenish blue may be, it wont last long!
“These colors last anywhere from 2 to 4 weeks, which allows clients to experiment more,” the celeb colorist explained.
That means Kylie will likely be taking her blue-green ‘do to sister Kim Kardashian’s over-seas nuptials!
We can’t wait to see who else draws inspiration from Kylie’s bold hue.
“Ever since Nicole Richie set the bar as a lavender princess, I would say this is only the beginning of more colorful hairstyles.”
“‘Punk’ is an attitude that rebels against traditional values,” Moon said. “That’s exactly what is happening here. Young starlets are adopting this attitude and designers are supporting them. Designer Vivienne Westwood has made a career of this.”
Kylie’s not the only young Jenner making a bold statement. Kendall Jenner hit up Cannes for the annual Cannes film festival and sported some super sexy ooks!
The 18-year-old reality TV star turned model was photographed rocking a sexy criss-crossed crop top and showing off some serious side boob for the ‘Gram.

We can’t get enough of the Jenner girls lately and thankfully we wont have to wait for more of their style madness – the two sisters are set to co-host Canada’s 2014 MuchMusic Video Awards!
Kendall and Kylie will introduce musical guests including Imagine Dragons and Lorde.
“Kendall and I are both huge music fans, and we can’t wait to meet our fans north of the border,” Kylie said earlier this week.
