Michael Jace, known for his role as a Los Angeles cop on The Shield, has been charged in the shooting death of his wife, April Jace.
Police detained the 51-year-old actor on Monday night after finding April, 40, shot to death at the couple’s Los Angeles area home. According to Los Angeles Police Detective Lyman Doster, Jace was booked on a homicide charge early Tuesday.
Police say Jace was home alone when his wife arrived with their two sons. He was the one to call in the shooting and report April’s death.
Detective Sal LaBarbera told KNBC-TV that Jace is a suspect and that police are not looking for other suspects.
