Whether it’s on the court or in his personal life, Carmelo Anthony was born to ball.
The NBA all star has had great success as an athlete and philanthropist, but most importantly, he’s known as a great husband and dad.
Although he’s one of the most sought-after athletes in the world (especially in New York), his name perfectly depicts his attitude toward all things in life: Melo.
Though the New York Knicks didn’t score a spot in this year’s playoffs, 2014 has been an awesome year for Anthony. Not only did he score his career high of 62 points, but he also gets to celebrate another year of wedded bliss with his beautiful wife La La Anthony.
In an interview with Ebony Magazine, Melo revealed:
“There were people coming in and out of my life, and I didn’t really know whom to trust. [La La] was one of the people who stood by my side through thick and thick. Even to this day, she’s always right there.”
Carmelo and La La, who will be celebrating their 4-year anniversary this summer, have a 7-year-old adorable son named Kiyan.
