Good news for anyone who looks at their bathroom countertop and feels like she doesn’t already have enough half empty lotions and perfume bottles cluttering it: Katy Perry has another one in the works to add to your collection.
That’s right, KatyCats. She’s hitting a new sweet-smelling note with her fifth fragrance, Royal Revolution. She announced on Instagram that the follow-up to last year’s Killer Queen is getting a “sassy sapphire sister,” which is set to come to a perfume counter near you this July. It will be available in four different sizes, ranging from $29 to $59, and will be sold in 20,000 department stores and perfumeries.
So, what exactly will this pop princess’ scent smell like?
Pink freesia, pomegranate, sandalwood, orange flower and jasmine petals, Marsha Brooks, vice president of Coty Beauty Fragrances told WWD, adding that blackthorn, which “was known in the dark ages for having magical powers,” will also be incorporated.
Hopefully it’ll smell as enchanting as it sounds.
