Just days after having a Frank Ocean moment by revealing how he was coping with unrequited love from a man, UK singer/songwriter Sam Smith enlists the talents of the Queen of Hip-Hop Soul, Mary J. Blige, for a revamped version of his song “Stay With Me.”

Excited to have Mary J. on the U.S. version of his track, Sam tweeted:

“Why am I so emotional/ this is not a good look, gain some self control/ and deep down I know this never works/ but you can lay with me so it doesn’t hurt,” sings Mary J.

The original version of “Stay With Me” is off Sam’s debut album, In The Lonely Hour, which is due out in the U.S. on June 17th. Head on over to iTunes to purchase the Mary J version of “Stay With Me.”  Take a listen to Sam and MJB’s new collaboration below.
