Justin Bieber’s name continues to buzz in the world of media and hip-hop after the most recent racist comment video that leaked to the press. A lot of people were offended and concerned about Bieber’s jokes, in which he says the N-word and references the KKK – but Lil Wayne and Young Money are still rocking with the young artist, telling TMZ that Bieber is family.

Young Money’s Mack Maine is on the same side of the fence, saying that Bieber has “legitimately adopted the culture of the hip-hop, African American culture.”

Young Money Prez Mack Maine tells TMZ … everyone on the label has interacted with Bieber extensively and there has not been a hint of racism on Justin’s part.  Mack Maine says the majority of Justin’s crew is black, and “Bieber does not have a slave mentality.  He treats his people with respect.”

Mack says all of Young Money thinks that Bieber’s age at the time the video was recorded is relevant, confessing that he himself has made racist jokes as a kid before to entertain friends – he just never got caught.

“I remember telling a white man, Chinese man, Black man joke as a kid that was terrible and I told it to my friends because I thought they’d think it was funny,” Mack says.

Justin Bieber apologized for his comments last night on Instagram (June 4th), in a way that none of us expected him to: with Bible verses.

Biebs posted from the book of John and Isaiah, using all three verses, which deal with forgiveness and salvation of your sins.

OK Justin, just don’t let it happen again.
