Since the Newtown, Connecticut Massacre in 2012, there have been a reported 74 shootings in the United States. Most of the shootings have occurred at K-12 schools. The incidents include shootings within a school or surrounding a school campus, and include assaults, homicides, suicides and accidental shootings. [Huff Post]

A two-year-old was shot and killed in Cleveland by his father, when he fired into the window of the home the boy shared with his mother during a domestic dispute between the two. The father fled the scene and was arrested by police and wasn’t immediately charged. [Huff Post]

Shelly Sterling has stepped in following her estranged husband Donald Sterling changing his mind about selling the Clippers. Shelly and her lawyers requested an emergency order from the California court on Wednesday morning. Former CEO Steve Ballmer, who bought the team for $2 billion dollars, has reportedly held off his purchase until Shelly and Donald come to an agreement. [ESPN]
