Dave Chappelle fans have been stoked for his series of comeback shows at NYC’s Radio City this weekend, and already he’s started them off with a bang.
Last night, the longtime comedian hosted his second show, and while he got tons of laughs from a packed crowd, it was a surprise performance from Kanye West that got everyone going crazy.
After sharing his hilarious story of how he met Yeezy on Jimmy Fallon’s show earlier this week, we should have seen this one coming.
Kanye hit the stage to perform his Yeezus hit “New Slaves” before going into his older hits “Gold Digger” and “Jesus Walks” and making his exit.
Some people at Complex and Def Jam in the audience were able to capture Yeezy’s performances on their iPhone in the videos above, but hopefully some more footage will be released soon.
It’s safe to say that Kanye shut the Big Apple down.
