Atlanta’s Rich Homie Quan is the latest rapper to have started “From The Bottom.”
The track reflects the ups, downs and lessons he’s experienced thus far in music and in life, paired with a futuristic beat produced by KC Da Beatmonster.
“I ain’t received no honors, but the streets certified me,” Quan raps, with frustration still fresh in his voice.
The emcee takes listeners on an honest journey back to when he was growing up and made some questionable decisions, and it’s clear he wants redemption, “Lord knows I sin, bless my soul.”
Yet in the following verse, Quan acknowledges he’s not done transforming into who he wants to be, “look at my brains looking more like a criminal mind…”
