We’re gonna need extra trigger warnings…

XXL 2014 Freshman August Alsina sings to us from the end of a rope in his new video, “FML.” With the song’s title being an acronym for “F**k My Life,” we weren’t really expecting the accompanying visuals to be very cheery.

Veteran MC Pusha T opens the song with his classic flow and is seen in the video looking at himself during the scene of his own death. Not the first time a rapper has dealt with suicide in his lyrics– though this track makes Biggie’s “Suicidal Thoughts” sound like an ode to joy.

The track is featured on Alsina’s debut album, Testimony, which dropped in April. Peep the music video above (and try to think some happy thoughts afterwards).
