After blowing minds with the “On The Run” Tour kick-off concert in Miami alongside Jay Z, Beyonce paid tribute to Michael Jackson on her website. In her brief dedication to MJ, she cites him as a major inspiration to her music and particularly to her performance style. She writes: “Michael taught me that sometimes you have to forget technique, forget what you have on. Thirty-six people were hospitalized last night at an Avicii concert in Boston, officials attributing the incident to drugs, alcohol, and dehydration. The Swedish DJ and producer later tweeted his concern for his fans: “Its a terrible thing, I rly hope everyone is ok!My thoughts go to those affected & their families.” Six weeks prior to his show in Boston, 29 people were hospitalized at one of his concerts in Toronto. Eric Bellinger‘s single “I Don’t Want Her” got the uptown treatment from Ma$e on this new remix. The original version of the song, featuring Problem, appeared on his debut LP, The Rebirth, which dropped earlier this year.
