Rick Ross was quietly arrested on Friday night in North Carolina – well, that is until the rest of the world found out.
The 38-year-old Maybach Music Group “bawse” was taken into custody by the Greensboro Police Department following his performance at SuperJam 2014, which took place at the Greensboro Coliseum. According to TMZ, Rozay had a warrant out for his arrest. The site reports:
Officials say there had been a warrant out for Ross — because he never showed up to court to deal with a marijuana arrest in Greensboro back in 2013 … so, when he came back to N.C., cops pounced.
The site also reports that Ricky did not put up a fight and has since been released. Having recently committed to his health, not to mention losing approximately 100 pounds, Rozay has been working on turning his life around in a big way. We hope this doesn’t set the self-proclaimed king of Miami back.
