There’s a new face for the popular iced tea and lemonade drink we like to call the Arnold Palmer. It’s Jay Z and the 40/40 Club. And we’re perfectly OK with that.

Former Def Jam CEO, powerhouse entertainment executive and Mr. Make It Happen, aka Kevin Liles, stopped by to talk to his GlobalGrind family about his new beverage collaboration with Jay Z and Mariah Carey, harnessing the future of exclusive celebrity content, and the key to longevity in this cut-throat world of entertainment.

Sipping on Go N’Syde’s 40/40 beverage — a refreshing take on the Arnold Palmer — Liles discussed the next frontier of connecting with your favorite celebrities by scanning the barcode on the bottle’s label with any smartphone device.

Once “N’Syde,” customers will get a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the 40/40 Club and its main man, complete with photos, videos, and other related exclusive content. A scan of Mimi’s light and fruity “Butterfly” beverage will give fans an interactive and private experience that’s as sweet as the drink.

Starting this month, Go N’Syde beverages are available exclusively in 7,500 Walgreens nationwide and New York Metro area Duane Reade locations.

Switching gears, Liles let us know what he felt about Kim and Kanye’s extravagant wedding, Rihanna’s see-through dress, and Chris Brown’s recent legal woes. And regarding Dame Dash’s recent comments that Liles was a “culture vulture?”

“I love him,” he said. “I think that God has people do different things and hopefully he’ll find what the purpose of that’s for. I don’t talk about people. I wish him the best of luck. We created a lot of great things together.”
