National HIV Testing Day was June 27, and what better way to celebrate than with a free concert by A$AP Ferg, Flatbush Zombies, Bodega Bamz, Po Johnson, and DJ/Producer Zeke Thomas?

The only way attendees were able to land their free tickets was by getting tested for HIV at partner testing sites between June 2 and June 22.

The Centers for Disease Control reports that over 1,000 young people ages 13-24 are newly infected with HIV each month in the United States. Many youth have never been tested, are not being treated, and are consequentially spreading the disease without even knowing it. In an effort to promote getting tested, the CDC reserved June 27 as National HIV Testing Day.

Lifebeat operates a number of HIV prevention programs that bring together a nationwide network of volunteers and celebrity talent as a way to reach out to millions of millennials with their greatest common interest: live musical performances.
