New search warrants in the death of 22-month-old Cooper Harris revealed Sunday that not only did the father research hot car deaths and how long they take to occur, but so did the mother.

The warrants were for a Dell Dimension 9200 Computer Tower from the Harris’ home, Google Chrome cast, a McBook Pro Laptop, a Lenovo T530 Think Pad taken from Justin Harris’ car, an Apple MacBook Pro, and iPhone and an iPad from the car.

Leanna Harris, the mother of 22-month-old Cooper Harris, is not facing any criminal charges, but police say she is part of their ongoing investigation. However, her husband, Justin Ross Harris, has been charged with murder and child cruelty after leaving their son in the car for seven hours while he was at work. After police obtained the warrant to search his computer and found that he had researched the amount of time it would take for an animal to die in a hot car, Harris said he had only researched it because he was concerned that something like this could happen.

The funeral for 22-month-old Cooper Harris was held on Saturday in Tuscaloosa, AL. His father was not allowed to attend, but phoned in from jail to speak to friends and family. Harris told the crowd of around 200:

“Thank you for everything. I’m sorry I can’t be there.”

Harris’ wife, Leanna, told those attending that Ross is a great father, to which the crowd gave a standing ovation. Harris also said that she is not angry with her husband over their son’s death.

The Cobb County police department is continuing their investigation into this tragic incident to see if there is any evidence in the home of child abuse or neglect.
