Over the years, hip-hop heads have been baffled by the low key appearances and lack of releases coming from Jay Electronica, but he’s finally breaking some more silence.
The Roc Nation signee doesn’t tweet too often, but when he does…you better watch out!
Jay went on a mini-rant yesterday as he sent a public message to Pete Rosenberg of HOT 97 that he needs to apologize to Public Enemy frontman Chuck D.
Some of the HOT 97 staff and Chuck D have been going at it on Twitter in recent weeks over the music that the station plays and the station’s impact on the hip-hop community, so of course Jay feels strongly about all of it.
Jay tweeted:
Oh yeah, @Rosenbergradio you owe Mr. Chuck D and apology and we are gonna see to it that he gets it. Publicly.
