While others might have been rocking the red, white, and blue this weekend, Ciara was apparently repping red, yellow, and green with her new Rastafarian dreadlocks. The singer hasn’t been too shy about sharing her personal life with followers lately, and after seeing pictures of her newborn son Future on Instagram, we were excited to see what was next in store for us.
And CiCi definitely delivered. The new mom revealed a series of pictures giving a fierce face and model poses with dreads that go down her back. She might normally sport a lighter and shorter bob, but her dreads have taken a darker route with a couple of blonde highlights.
We got a glimpse of the dreads a few weeks ago, when Future shared a flick of Ciara on his own page. Of course, the “Body Party” singer didn’t grow the locks overnight. They are faux dreads, but Ciara owns ’em. In one of the photos, Ciara can be seen sporting the new hair with a red lip and a Calvin Klein “Obsession” crewneck–and we are definitely obsessed.
