Legendary Chicago emcee Common links up with Detroit star Big Sean on his No I.D.-produced track “Diamonds.”
“I wrote this on my born day, it was a warm day/ N*ggas gotta eat, we gon’ do it gourmet/I’m hearing f*ckin’ voices, like when porn play/ Stay, stay on your grind like foreplay/What more can I say? Diamonds are for the day,” raps Common.
In other Common news, the “Sweet” rapper finally admitted his 2011 beef with Drake was over tennis champion Serena Williams (surprise, surprise).
“Diamonds” will appear on Common’s forthcoming album, Nobody’s Smiling, which is due out at the end of the month on July 22. Nobody’s Smiling will feature guest appearances by Big Sean, Vince Staples, Jhene Aiko, Elijah Blake, and more.
