Columbus Short is trying to turn his life around, and rightfully so.
The former Scandal star has been, well, pretty scandalous lately, as he’s been in and out of jail due to assault allegations and more, but in this recent interview at Atlanta’s V-103 radio station, Short explains his side of things. For example, the bar fight that he had with another man back in March was actually him defending his wife, he insists.
I had to defend my wife at a bar. This man was being highly, highly disrespectful… slapping her in the face with $20 bills.
Short doesn’t stop there while coming clean.
The actor also admitted to drinking in excessive amounts and has now vowed to aggressively cut back on the binge drinking. Sources were told that Columbus will be undergoing a soul detox, which ultimately means staying out of bars, staying away from bad people, as well as looking for a place outside of Los Angeles.
