Billionaires Warren Buffett, Bill Gates, and Sheldon Adelson teamed up on Friday to pressure Congress to pass comprehensive immigration reform, saying “Americans deserve better” than the bickering that has prevented a bill from reaching President Obama’s desk. So this happened. A man from Britain lost two fingertips on the Pirates of Caribbean ride at Florida’s Walt Disney World. The unidentified man was treated at a local hospital after the ring and pinky fingers of his right hand were sliced. Disney officials said it was not clear how the man was injured. [NY Daily News]

Two Israelis were injured on Saturday just moments after a Palestinian rocket slammed into a home in the Gaza frontier town of Netivot. The injuries, which are not considered serious, occurred as they were running toward bombproof shelters. The IDF retaliated by killing the Palestinians who launched the rockets toward Netivot. Palestinians in the Gaza Strip resumed rocket fire at Israel on Saturday, the fifth day of Operation Protective Edge. The death toll has already reached 100. [The Jerusalem Post]

Maria Zhang, a top executive at Yahoo, is being sued for sexual harassment, wrongful termination, and intentional infliction of emotional distress by her female employee. The complaint was filed today by Nan Shi, an engineer supervised by Zhang, and names Yahoo as a defendant. In her complaint, Nan Shi says she was working as a principal software engineer when the supervisor, industry veteran Maria Zhang, forced her to have sex against her will on multiple occasions, promising her “a bright future at Yahoo” if she acquiesced.
