A privately-owned prison in East Texas just went through the unthinkable, as its roof collapsed, resulting in at least 20 injured inmates and others left trapped.

According to ABC 13, the collapse occurred around 11:30 on Saturday morning. The sheet rock roof came down on the jailhouse that occupies 84 prisoners.

The site reports:

All 19 were transported to a local hospital for evaluation. One was then flown to a hospital here in Houston. At this time, we don’t know the condition of the patient who was airlifted. As for the others, we’re told the injuries don’t appear to be serious.

So far, there’s no word as to why the ceiling collapsed, but hopefully everyone makes a speedy recovery.
