Another airline has lost contact with a plane, this time flying from Burkina Faso to Algiers across the Sahara. Algeria’s national airline, Air Algerie, said it had lost contact with one of its planes, Flight AH 5017, about 50 minutes after take-off from Ouagadougou. A 27-year-old Seattle Seahawk is hanging up his helmet and retiring from the NFL due to a history of concussions. Just two days before the Seattle Seahawks kick off their 2014 training camp, veteran receiver Sidney Rice made his announcement. A doctor who has played a key role in fighting the unprecedented Ebola outbreak in Sierra Leone has fallen ill to the virus he worked so hard to curb. Dr. Sheik Humarr Khan is being treated by the French aid group Medicins Sans Frontieres — also known as Doctors Without Borders — in Kailahun, Sierra Leone, Tim Shenk, an agency spokesman, told CNN.
