IAMSU is a household name in hip-hop music these days. After a slew of hits with the likes of 50 Cent, Problem, YG, and many more remixes with multiple ‘you know who’s’, SU is still an indie artist. He touches on the indie hustle in a new record called “Independent Paper.” Be sure to catch IAMSU on tour with Wiz Khalifa coming through a hood near you very soon.

I have to admit I was pleasantly surprised when I heard Fat Trel‘s recent leak “She Fell In Love.” The remix is even colder. It’s not just that it features Nipsey Hussle and the CEO Rick Ross. The sound of the record and the concept may be Trel’s best effort yet. “She Fell In Love” sounds like Miami nights in Liv.

Ever heard of the kid Alesso? If you frequent the EDM events anywhere in the world, but especially in Europe, this dude is a household name. He recently signed onto the once iconic hip-hop label Def Jam for his latest project. His new track “Tear The Roof” is already heating up dance floors worldwide.

Wow, R&B music misses the magical, soulful sounds of Lloyd. Remember his big smash with Lil Wayne, “You?” He’s back in the booth with a new mixtape called Hotter Than July 19th. The first single “On Call” features the always freshly spitting talents of the most slept on MC in hip-hop, Big K.R.I.T. This record is truly special. Let’s see what happens…

Detroit’s impact on hip-hop music is arguably more significant then Atlanta’s if you really think about it. When it comes to music, The D has so many styles that combine different elements along with their rich music history. Case in point, check out this new Black Milk track “Detroit’s New Dance Show.” It has the signature Detroit funky sound that could feature in the Neo Soul, Hip-Hop and Electro fan bases.
