Chloe Grace Moretz might be seventeen, but she seems like old soul in Flare Magazine’s September issue. Not only has the actress landed over twenty movie roles in her short career, she’s also appeared in big fashion spreads with designers like Dior and Chanel.
On the cover of Flare, the Kick-Ass star shows off her mature persona in a futuristic-inspired leather dress with studded embellishments. Chloe definitely looks like a girl of the future, sporting the fall season’s newest colors and patterns with fringe detailing and clunky shoes.
In the magazine, Chloe spills on all things fashion, acting, and relationships. In fact, according to Chloe, fashion is like a “walking art.”
“You can be whoever you want through what you wear. Just put me in whatever is fun and interesting, things that I won’t be able to wear when I’m 30.”
It’ll be awhile before she hits 30, but it’s hard to imagine Chloe looking anything other than gorgeous. But as she continues to mature, she says that relationships aren’t really on her mind.
“It’s a tough age to fall in love: people change so quickly. I don’t want to have to feel like I have to watch my step, ’cause I’m 17 and I shouldn’t have to.”
And while she admits that most of her friends have managed to get stuck in relationships for a big part of their younger years, she thinks there’s more to life.
“Dude, you’re wasting away your entire high-school years, and now you’re going to waste away your college years. You’re going to spend your entire life in a relationship and then you’re going to get married…and then you’re dead! So you lived your life in a relationship! That’s not my style.”
Relationships might not be her style, but she definitely has a knack for knowing what trends look good on her and what movie roles fit her career goals best. And while other girls might be chasing boys, the only thing she’s chasing is the business. As for picking roles, she follows a strict policy:
“Only do a movie if you’d do it for free.”
