Zac Efron has kept quiet about his personal life ever since he hit the scene in 2006–his addiction issues were no exception. But the Neighbors star appeared on NBC’s Running Wild with Bear Grylls and finally opened up about his alcohol addiction. He revealed:

“The challenging part was never the work. It was sort of the in-between work — the social aspects outside of it; everywhere you go [there are press and people watching] … and it can be confusing … and pretty soon you need a social lubricant.”

Efron is now sober, working, and dating Michelle Rodriguez.

Iggy Azalea is definitely “Fancy.” The Australian rapper will be joining the cast of Fast & Furious 7. Actor Vin Diesel revealed to Skyrock FM:

“I just worked with her two weeks ago,” the actor told Skyrock FM. “We casted her in Fast & Furious 7. She has a cameo in Fast & Furious 7.”

Congrats Iggy.

Paramount has finally released a statement addressing the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles poster controversy. The company tweeted the poster above, which depicted the turtles jumping from an exploding building above the September 11th Australian release date.

Paramount stated:

“We are deeply sorry to have used that artwork for the marketing materials promoting the September 11 opening in Australia. Combining that image and date was a mistake. We intended no offense and have taken immediate action to discontinue its use.”

The tweet and poster have since been deleted.

Twentieth Century Fox unveiled new footage and cast at Comic-Con on Friday for The Maze Runner. The Wes Ball-directed film is based on James Dashner’s bestselling novel about youngsters marooned on a maze-ridden island.

Skybound Entertainment has released the first trailer and poster for the sci-fi movie Air, starring Djimon Hounsou and The Walking Dead’s Norman Reedus.

The story is set in an underground cryogenic facility after a nuclear fallout renders the atmosphere unbreathable. Air centers on its two custodial workers (Reedus, Hounsou), who take care of the cryogenically sleeping personnel that are to re-establish society, but they struggle to preserve their own sanity and lives while maintaining the extremely fragile environment of the last livable place on earth.
