After slaying us with the surprise of a lifetime this weekend, Nicki Minaj opened up about her experience working with Beyonce for the first time in a phone interview with Hot 97.
The “Anaconda” rapper revealed she actually didn’t believe she would have the opportunity to work with the mega star. Minaj said:
“Recently, I thought it would never happen. I thought that if she was gonna ask she would’ve been asked me…I think the stars just aligned. I think we’re just at the right places at our careers, it makes sense now.”
Nicki also talks about collaborating with other female artists in the game, her favorite “Anaconda” meme (Kermit The Frog) & being a size queen:
“I don’t have a lot of people to compare it too…but I think that’s a dope thing to have.”
