It was a night that you didn’t want to miss.

Two of Hip-Hop’s most influential figures, Drake and Lil Wayne, started a competition on stage Friday at the Drake vs Lil Wayne tour, kicking off the epicness in Buffalo, NY. The tour, which had a video-game approach, featured both artists going head-to-head in one of the most interactive and creative on-stage collabs we’ve seen thus far.

The jam packed show began with a Street Fighter-inspired video, which set the tone for the remainder of the night. Video game maker Capcom teamed up with Drizzy & Wayne for an interactive app that allows fans to determine which artist should go on stage first & at the end of the night, it determines who won the battle.

This first night, Weezy took the crown. The YMCMB head honcho started his set with hits such as, “John,” “Blunt Blowin’,” and “Steady Mobbin’.” Drake then came back with crowd favorites “Draft Day,” “We Made It,” and “The Language.”

As the stars go back and forth with their biggest hits, Weezy decided to not play fair and called out his fellow tour-mate by bringing up his Degrassi days. He quotes:

You was still in a wheelchair when I was making hits.

Burn! Weezy wasn’t having it with Drake’s attempt to win the ladies over by singing Marvin’s Room, causing the YMCMB head honcho to walk backstage for a quick shower before returning in a bathrobe.

After fans chose Wayne as the winner of the showdown, he tweeted:

Drake ingloriously accepted defeat and went on to perform collaborative hits with Wayne including “The Motto,” “HYFR” as well as their latest hit “Believe Me.”

Here are some clips of the two going head to head during their stop in Buffalo, NY. Catch them on tour until September 27th.
