Miami-based musician Cris Cab dropped by the No Judgment Zone to perform his hit single “Liar, Liar,” talk about one night stands, and much, much more.
The 21-year-old musician, who was discovered and mentored by Pharrell Williams, just recently wrapped a European tour where he discovered the huge success of his music amongst his Eurofans – specifically in Paris.
Cris says his approach to the music industry has been a rather laid back one, focusing on making quality songs and videos, rather than the in-your-face tactics of other up-and-coming artists. He says this is something he learned from Pharrell, who he’ll be opening for on the European leg of his tour this fall.
Cris attributes much of his success to social media. Though he tries to be hands off with his music and let the fans decide, he regularly shares new music and at-home jam sessions via social media. He says this his helped spread the word about his music amongst fans and in the industry. Since breaking through in the business, Cab has worked with Pharrell and Big Sean and hopes to expand this list as he grows as an artist.
