With the anticipation of his 7th studio album Seen It All, Young Jeezy keeps unleashing dope music to the streets. This week it’s “Beautiful” featuring Rick Ross and The Game. Black Metaphor is the chairmen behind the boards on this sick track whose baseline is only worthy of some the best storytellers in hip-hop music. Jeezy never disappoints and his upcoming album looks to be no different.

Since his initial impact in the hip-hop game Wiz Khalifa has basically reinvented himself several times over. His Taylor Gang posse is of hip-hop’s up and coming. These days, he’s on the road with the Bay Area’s HBK crew on that Under The Influence of Music Tour. Here’s a new joint called “Everything,” which is a mix of Taylor and HBK cronies; IAMSU. Wiz, JR Donato, Kool John and Berner. Expect more to come as the tour winds through a city near you.

An abundance of socially-charged music has hit the airwaves in the wake of the unfortunate passings of Eric Gardner and Michael Brown at the hands of police. J Cole‘s new song “Free” really exposes a different a side to Fayetteville NC’s favorite son. Though not on the level of Public Enemy’s “Fight The Power,” “Free” is more of a salute to the struggle for justice. More importantly, hip-hop is bringing awareness.

Ever heard of the kid ILOVEMAKONNEN? Me neither, until I heard his latest that Drake remixed called “Club Going On Up on A Tuesday” or “Tuesday” for short. This is straight turn up that is ingenious yet simple even without Drizzy’s touch. After a listen, I guarantee you will be hooked. “Tuesday” will be a cult club smash.

On the R&B side of things, Jeremih has been working hard on his upcoming release. His latest joint “Show Me” gets an assist from Maybach Music Maestro Omarion. Though I’ve never been a huge fan of 2 R&B singers performing together on the same track, when done right it can result in great music. “Show Me” has that feel but time will tell how far this stretches.
