“Free Meek Milly, Man. Philly, Jersey, we love y’all for real!”
Those were the closing words of Mr. October’s Very Own last night in Camden, New Jersey during the final moments of the “Drake vs. Lil Wayne” Tour.
For the final set of the evening, Drake — who was wearing a “Free Meek Mill” shirt — and his mentor Lil Wayne performed the epic intro to MMG member Meek Mill‘s Dreams and Nightmares album, in tribute to the incarcerated rapper.
And the crowd went crazy. The video up top is a must watch if you’re a fan of Drake, Wayne, or Meek Mill.
Hopefully those in power watch the video. Because, despite numerous attempts made by Mill’s legal team, pleas to free the Philly native in time for a September release were denied.
