This is really sad, if it’s true.
For quite a while, Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon have been plagued by separation and divorce rumors, but of course we brushed it off, because it just couldn’t be true.
Unfortunately, it may be, as Nick reportedly revealed to The Insider with Yahoo that he and his wife are living apart and their rock solid relationship isn’t so rock solid anymore. The site reports:
“There is trouble in paradise,” the America’s Got Talent host exclusively revealed to The Insider With Yahoo on Thursday. “We have been living in separate houses for a few months.”
But according to the report, Nick insists that their separation is not due to any infidelity. He also adds:
“My main focus is my kids,” he said of their 3-year-old twins, Moroccan and Monroe, aka “Dem Babies.”
Mariah hasn’t spoken out about her rumored relationship woes just yet, but her publicist had this to say:
“I am not commenting on Mariah’s personal life, but Mariah is focusing on her children and her upcoming tour.”
And indeed the legendary vocalist is focusing on her kids.
This morning, she posted this photo of Dem Babies sharing a special moment. She captioned it: “Friends forever!!!! #breakfastmoments.”
Mariah and her hubby have been married for 6 years and have two beautiful twins together. It would be a shame to see them fall apart now. We’re rooting for ’em!
