UPDATE: 4:30 PM EST

After posting a barrage of tweets that suggested rape isn’t really rape unless the victim remembers it, TBS has canceled Cee Lo Green’s The Good Life.

The Turner-owned cable network has canceled the unscripted series after one season, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed.

The unscripted series bowed in June and has already completed its six-episode freshman run. The reality show featured Green as he juggled his schedule of producing, recording and performing.

The series averaged 677,000 viewers when factoring in seven days of delayed viewing, with 403,000 among adults 18-49.

The network’s decision comes after the women’s rights group, UltraViolet, petitioned for the cancellation. Sources tell The Hollywood Reporter, however, the decision had more to do with ratings.

Ready for your morning dose of misogyny and rape culture?

Musician Cee Lo Green took to Twitter in an attempt to define what rape and sexual assault isn’t, because that’s exactly what we really need from someone who was just sentenced to three years probation after slipping a woman ecstasy without her consent in 2012.

Green, who pleaded no contest to the felony ecstasy possession earlier this week, addressed the case with these bizarre and highly offensive tweets contending that women who have been raped remember their sexual assault.

Yep. That happened.

The series of tweets were written in an attempt to stave off criticism of his actions, although prosecutors chose not to pursue rape charges. Green and the woman had sex, but she maintained she did not remember what happened. Green’s lawyer argued that the two had consensual relations.

Green eventually deleted the tweets, but not before offering a half-baked apology for his victim-shaming antics.

“Let me 1st praise god for exoneration fairness & freedom! Secondly I sincerely apologize for my comments being taken so far out of context.”

“I only intended on a healthy exchange to help heal those who love me from the pain I had already caused from this. Please forgive me as it..”

“…was your support that got me thru this to begin with. I’d never condone the harm of any women. Thank you.”

He then deleted his entire Twitter account, but not before screenshots were taken and it was confirmed that the former The Voice judge definitely “ain’t it” for his perpetuation of rape culture.

Just…no.
