Chris Brown is back, and he’s new and improved.

The “Loyal” singer is currently gearing up to drop his next album X, and he’s finally breaking some media silence in its anticipation.

Breezy hasn’t done a full interview anywhere since he’s been released from prison, but Billboard got the chance to sit down for a discussion with the popular singer. The music outlet recently released the cover of their upcoming Chris Brown issue, as well as a small snippet of what’s to come soon as far as the interview.

Addressing his life choices, and how he’s portrayed in the media, Chris told the outlet:

“I realize that what I do for a living opens my life to public scrutiny and that I have a responsibility to everyone because of that exposure,” Brown tells Billboard. “I can say that I am only human and I have made mistakes. I can say that I try to live my life in the most true, honest way that I can. I am not perfect, no one is. No one is harder on me than me. No one can please everyone. No one can live in the past and expect to grow. I have been moving forward and hope that I am not defined by just a few moments in my life but all of the moments that will make up my life.”

In the interview, Breezy also talks about Rihanna, his life in prison, and his fanbase, so stay tuned for the full interview soon.
