Last night wasn’t the Academy Awards, but Hollywood united for a very important cause.

The annual Stand Up 2 Cancer event was held in L.A. at the Dolby Theatre yesterday, and tons of our favorite stars and public figures came out to support, raise money, and perform.

The televised event, which was co-produced by Gwyneth Paltrow and Emmy-winning producer Joel Gallen, united celebrities for an hour-long commercial-free program that helped raise a lot of money for cancer research.

Tons of the big names in the building took the stage to share inspiring stories concerning the disease, as well as perform.

Those who performed included Ariana Grande, who sang a new slow-medley off of her My Everything album, Dave Matthews Band, as well as Jennifer Hudson, Lupe Fiasco, and Commonwho hit the stage with a collaborative blow out set.

Some of the presenters of the night included Katie Couric, Pierce Brosnan, Melissa McCarthy, and many more.

It was a night of inspiration among the stars, who’ve helped raise $261 million for innovative research programs.

Check out some of the performances from the night above, plus a few more photos below.
