It’s about damn time!
Nicki Minaj finally announces the release date of her highly-anticipated album, The Pinkprint. Drum roll please, The Pinkprint will arrive just in time for Thanksgiving on November 24.
The “Anaconda” rapper made the announcement last night right before she performed at “Fashion Rocks ” in New York City. Inspired by Jay Z’s classic 2001 album, The Blueprint, Nicki Minaj expressed her excitement about the album to The Breakfast Club.
“I think the album is so classic. It’s gonna feel so good and I think it will probably be something that female rappers look to as a Pinkprint for years to come.”
Like Nicki, Lil Wayne and Tyga are both gearing up to release their albums. Tha Carter V is scheduled to drop October 28 and Tyga’s The Gold Album: 18th Dynasty on November 18.
