Well, this is a Lorde we don’t see every day.
The “Royals” singer has had one heck of a year after the success of her hit song, and now she’s using that to her advantage.
After her song has run rampant all over the charts, and earned her a Grammy, Lorde is taking that spotlight and focusing it on her style sense. ELLE magazine recently released a preview of their October issue, and it looks like Lorde landed the cover and a spread in the fashion tome.
Inside the shoot, the 17-year-old shows off a much more refreshed look from her dark glam, and rocks an au natural face – less dark lipstick and more dewy glow.
She shows off her grungy sense of fashion in the mag, rocking some oversized sweaters and big hair to match. It’s clear that Lorde is much more than just a voice with a microphone.
