Here comes the bride. And her bride. And also, the groom and his groom.

On the sixth day of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, guests in the salon of Lincoln Center stood at their feet as the show was opened by same-sex couples pronounced wife & wife and husband & husband by the power vested in Betsey Johnson.

Her Spring 2015 collection was as eclectic as one would expect it to be, and rather than being a typical fashion show, it was more of a party of sorts, as models, reality TV stars (including Cynthia Bailey), and drag queens alike, all danced down the runway wearing huge smiles and heavy faces of makeup.

The “Prenup” line ranged from big bridal gowns to wedding night lingerie and other pieces that ultimately lacked wearability (like the plastic dress with white piping pictured below). But, with any Betsey Johnson show, you come for the collection and stay to see her do her signature cartwheel and splits.

Trends spotted: This one was all over the place. Lots of lace and loud metallics. An abundance of tulle and fluff. Oh, and nipples. Plenty of nipples.

Faces in the front row: Christina Milian, Fern Mallis, Kenya Moore (RHOA), Kristen Taekman (RHONY) Melissa Gorga (RHONJ) Nigel Barker (photographer), Tony Dovolani (Dancing with the Stars)

My rating: Everyone loves BJ for being able to put on a show. Yes, it was fun, but the fashions should be taken with a grain of salt—or a glass of champagne. Seems more fitting for the occasion.

My favorite look: The pretty purple sheer midi-dress tied with a yellow ribbon. But I’m also here for the drag queen in the wedding dress supporting the #freethenipplemovement.
