Can y’all let Chris Brown live?
The “Loyal” singer was recently hit with rumors that he and his camp were involved in another brawl at a New York nightclub early Thursday morning.
The New York Post reports that the fight took place at VIP Room in NYC’s Meatpacking District, and left one person with a serious eye injury after getting hit in the face. But according to Gossip Cop, none of that is true.
Gossip Cop reached out to a rep for the club, who told us there was an “incident unrelated to Chris Brown” that went down between two guys, but took place around 50 feet away from the singer and his group.
As we’re told, one man tried to pour a bottle of beer on another dude. The bottle dropped, shattered, and cut the other patron by his eye.
The injury was minor. Chris tweeted about the incident, saying it had nothing to do with him and adding, “The devil is in full effect at all times. God is the way.”
If you remember, the X artist was involved in a 2012 nightclub fight with Drake, but the two have since peaced up their beef. Chris talked about it during a recent interview with MTV:
“[Drake’s] camp actually called me to do the skit. Especially after getting out of jail, I didn’t have any animosity towards anybody. I wanted to be able to bring light to the situation and just grow up. I’m 25 and I’m not getting younger. You can’t walk around holding grudges, looking over your shoulder and being negative all the time. I’m tired of being looked at as the aggressor, so I just wanted to show my maturity.”
