This year’s Mercedes-Benz New York Fashion Week has been filled with tons of stunning fashion, but one woman who works for Cosmopolitan Magazine wore a piece that had a real message.

While attending the En Noir Spring 2015 show last night in the Big Apple, fashion market director Shiona Turini dressed in some casualwear for the event, and it was her t-shirt that did all the talking.

Shiona sported a long white t-shirt that read “They have names” – followed by names such as Eric Garner, Trayvon Martin, Michael Brown, and many more black men who were shot and killed for no reason.

She posted the shirt to her Instagram, where she captioned the photo:

#TheyHaveNames. Thank you @pyermoss. I’m proud to honor the memory of these lost souls #justice #myblackisbeautiful #mymenarevaluable #saveoursons

Check out the powerful t-shirt above – and props to Shiona for a real fashion statement.
