Film director Will Packer‘s promo has paid off.

No Good Deed, starring Taraji P. Henson and Idris Elba, took the crown at the box office this weekend, opening in first place with an impressive $24.5 million.

Sony’s President of World Wide Distribution, Rory Bruer, told Entertainment Weekly:

“We really felt we were going to win. We felt we were in the zone and had a film that people were really going to like.”

Congrats to the team.

Miss Nebraska Megan Swanson landed herself in hot water this week after showing her goods for the world to see during the swimsuit portion of the Miss America pageant in Atlantic City.

According to the NY Daily News, cameras focused in on co-host Chris Harrison as he introduced the evening wear portion of the contest Sunday, and it caught Miss Nebraska leaning over and interacting with another contestant – during which she opened her legs a little too widely.

We’re guessing Nebraska is the new “Show Me” state.

Floyd Mayweather may be the undefeated champ, but not everyone thinks his legacy is a good look.

According to Radar Online, Floyd Mayweather wanted his billionaire friend Warren Buffett to walk out with him during this past weekend’s match-up against Maidana, but Buffett’s crew declined.

An insider claimed:

“Warren’s people felt that it wasn’t a good look, given the latest domestic issues.”

Floyd is being sued by his ex-girlfriend Shantel Jackson for allegations of physical abuse. Despite the drama, Mayweather went home undefeated – raising his record to 47-0.
