DJ Drama is one of the most influential DJ’s in the history of Hip Hop music. His Gangsta Grillz mixtape series saved and expanded the mixtape culture almost single handedly. Drama’s studio albums are dope too. The new single off his forthcoming album Quality Street Music 2 called “Right Back” is that proof. You have Jeezy, Rich Homie Quan, Young Thug all on a Mekanicz produced beat. Can you say turn up!?

Nothing surprises me anymore when I hear new Estelle music. It’s gonna be something dope, something different, yet unique and up to date. Her new single “Something Good” is everything previously mentioned, and then fun. Enjoy the sweet sexy high energy sounds of London’s leading mochalicious mami. This is feel good music only Estelle could do so well, and just when you think the track is over, prepare to ride out.

All this ratchet music dropping weekly is dope, but positive music breeds balance and provides inspiration. Leave it to Kendrick Lamar ‘s new single “I” to set that example. It’s great lyrics with a great message all over an ever famous Isley Brothers sampled beat. This will appeal not only to Lamar fans, but to all who like ‘feel good’ music.

A couple weeks back Chinx Drugz, or just Chinx, dropped his hot current hot single in the streets, “Couple Niggas.” This is the anthem through the hood and in the clubs right now, if your paying attention. Chinx continues his ‘yay’ mix campaign by touching up “Couple Niggas” and adding 2 Chainz plus fellow Coke Boy affiliate French Montana. Can you say ‘riot music.’ Again, can you say turn up!?

Theophilus London is Brooklyn, New York’s best kept secret. He isn’t Hova, Fab or Joell. No Joey BadA$$ bars or Uncle Murda war stories here. London’s style is unique and truly his. His new song “Do Girls” is a good way to get up to speed on Theo, if you’re unfamiliar still. Peep what he’s talking about too. G shit. His second album, Vibes, is due out next month and is executive produced by Yeezy.
