How many of y’all know about the soul of a woman? BJ The Chicago Kid does.

R&B crooner BJ The Chicago Kid releases a new soulful cut titled “Soul Of A Woman.” Just weeks after releasing his James Brown “King Heroin”-sampled “Real Love Never Dies,” BJ follows up with this soulful ode to women.

“Girl you got that fire burning down in my soul, with you by my side feels like I’ll never grow old/ I’m talking about the soul of a woman, it’s so good to see/ that it feels do good to be loved by you, and a wonderful place to be,” sings BJ.

Although BJ may appear to be a newcomer, the Chicago native has been songwriting for other R&B artists such as Dave Hollister, Musiq Soulchild, and Mary J. Blige for some time now. Most recently, BJ became a household name when he appeared on ScHoolboy Q’s Oxymoron banger “Studio.”

BJ’s currently readying a new EP, and plans to release his major label debut in 2015. Listen to BJ’s latest offering below.
