Just last month, Apple introduced us all to the highly-anticipated Apple Watch, and yesterday, fashion folk flocked to the Colette store in Paris to get a first glimpse at its Paris Fashion Week debut.

Apple has been making big fashion hires for the past year or so, tapping the biggest names in the industry to join their tech team, so an event putting the new product on display during Fashion Week makes perfect sense.

The watches are currently at the Colette store, shielded behind glass for the public’s pleasure, but the who’s who of fashion, like Vogue’s Anna Wintour and Karl Lagerfeld, joined Colette’s Sarah Andelman and Apple execs Jony Ive and Marc Newson to get personal demos of the device.

The watch will retail for $350 and be available in silver, gold, and rose gold with different colored bands.

Rumor has it that the Apple Watch is set to go on sale as soon as January 2015, according to an attendee at the event.

Now’s a good time to start saving your pennies.
