Doe B’s family was left puzzled after finding out someone tampered with the late rapper’s gravesite over the weekend.

According to AL News, someone desecrated the rapper’s grave in a Montgomery, Al. graveyard on Monday. Alabama police discovered that the suspect dug about a foot and a half before fleeing the scene. The rapper’s mother, Shirley Thomas, says she feels like someone is after her son, real name Glenn Thomas, once again.

Montgomery police say the grave site of rapper Doe B. was desecrated sometime on Sunday. A funeral home reported that a small hole was dug at the site of the rapper’s grave located in the 900 block of Lincoln Road in the Greenwood Cemetery.

“I never thought it would come down to this,” said Thomas. “It’s crazy. I mean I can’t understand it. I mean what are they looking for? He’s dead.”

Sgt. Denise Barnes said Montgomery police are investigating.

The rapper was killed last December at the Centennial Hill Bar and Grill. Two others, Troy University student Kimberle Johnson, 21, and Timnorius Hamilton, 20, also died from gun shot wounds.

Montgomery police charged two suspects, Jason McWilliams and Darius Thomas, both 25, with three counts of capital murder. Police say the men fired shots inside the club after an altercation with Doe B.

Police believe that the person slipped through the gates on Sunday evening. The shovel used was also left standing upright on his grave.

“I think they were trying to make a statement,’ said Thomas. “I don’t know why but with his fame and fortune, you know he was going somewhere. I’m disappointed.”

So far, no arrests have been made in the unfortunate incident.
