R&B newcomer Adrian Marcel is heating up the charts with his Sage The Gemini-assisted single “2 A.M.”
The Oakland native has been singing since he could talk, but received his big break when the legendary Raphael Saadiq heard his music and fell in love with his voice. The Oakland connection eventually led to Raphael executive producing his 7 Days Of Weak mixtape.
But the Bay Area love didn’t stop there. Polarizing songstress Keyshia Cole then invited Adrian to open up her 2014 summer tour.
Adrian stopped by GlobalGrind to tease his forthcoming project, talk working with Raphael Saadiq, hugging Keyshia Cole excessively, and being in love with the idea of love.
Adrian’s currently readying his 7 Days Of Weak follow-up, which is due before the year is out.
