Fresh off the success of “Bang Bang” with Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj, Jessie J has released two new tracks from her upcoming album Sweet Talker.
With the album exactly one week away from release, the British songstress decided to share her motivational side.
“Ain’t Been Done” is a promising club banger that’s sure to have all the ladies feeling like no one can do it better. “I’ma do it like it ain’t been done/On top only just begun/Better believe I’ll be your number one/I’ma do it like it ain’t been done,” Jessie sings.
“Masterpiece,” on the other hand, is lighter on the boasting and speaks more about ignoring the haters and accepting yourself – flaws and all.
“I still fall on my face sometimes/And I, can’t color inside the lines/Cause, I’m perfectly incomplete/I’m still working on my masterpiece/And I wanna hang with the greatest/Got a way to go, but it’s worth the wait/No, you haven’t seen the best of me/I’m still working on my masterpiece,” she belts.
Sweet Talker comes out on October 14.
