It hasn’t been an easy road for rapper Saigon.

In the beginning of the New York-born rapper’s career, issues with his record label prevented him from releasing his debut album for six long years. Three years later, Saigon releases his third studio album, The Greatest Story Never Told 3: The Troubled Times Of Brian Carenard.

After appearing on the previous season of VH1’s controversial Love & Hip-Hop: New York, Saigon talks about the show’s producer Mona Scott-Young, and his baby mother’s ambitions to use the show to become the “black” Kim Kardashian.

Saigon’s new album The Troubled Times Of Brian Carenard is available right now. Watch our exclusive interview with Saigon above.
