If you’re one of the many viewers who faithfully tune into Pretty Little Liars every week, this Shay Mitchell probably looks like a whole new woman to you – far more glamorous than the dressed-down character she plays on the hit ABC Family show.
But outside of playing lovable lesbian Emily, the 27-year-old actress reveals she is a self-proclaimed girly girl who is no stranger to all things glam.
Throughout the spread, Shay rocks a slicked-back ‘do and dark lips. Aside from looking flat-out fierce, Shay also shares what it’s been like to play a gay character on a teen show:
“It’s just been amazing. Every single day I get a tweet from fans saying how much they can really relate to Emily. That she’s the first character they feel isn’t a stereotype,” she said.
