Yesterday, Michelle Obama continued on her campaign as the First Lady of Flawlessness by opening the doors of her humble abode yet again to host a fashion education workshop.

More than one hundred high school students from across the nation were invited to the White House to get the inside scoop on the industry from the who’s who of fashion, including Zac PosenDiane von Furstenberg, and even Anna Wintour. (We’re just going to assume our invitation got lost in the mail or something.)

Wearing a black and navy number designed by an actual Fashion Institute of Technology student, FLOTUS addressed the young hopefuls, saying:

“You’ve got to hone your skills in college or at design school, you’ve got to be willing to take some risks and you also have to be prepared to fail. A lot. All of these are essential for the journey.”
