Who knew that Iggy Azalea was married? If you didn’t know you are not alone, neither did the Australian femcee.
Iggy Azalea‘s ex-boyfriend is out to get her again, this time by filing for divorce.
According to TMZ, Hefe Wine, whose government name is Maurice Williams, claims he and the rapper agreed to be in a common law marriage, which in Texas means that a man and a woman can agree to live together, present themselves as husband and wife, and get an actual divorce.
Iggy, on the other hand claims she never pretended to play house with Mr. Wine and never agreed to be married.
All these accusations back and forth may have been okay if there weren’t million of dollars at stake. According to TMZ:
“Hefe is asking the judge to prohibit Iggy from selling various assets they accumulated during the marriage. Iggy and Hefe have been at each other’s throats over the rights to music she wrote while they were together — music worth millions and millions of bucks.”
While the Aussie has moved on and recently celebrated her one-year anniversary with baller boyfriend Nick Young, it seems as though her ex cannot let the old thing go.
